La sposa di Granata - wrong title?

[edit]

I think the title may be wrong. My references show that Nicolini's La conquista di Granata premiered at La Fenice in 1821 with Giuditta Pasta and Gaetano Crivelli. I can find no references anywhere to an opera by Nicolini entitled La sposa di Granata. Voceditenore (talk) 08:36, 8 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

La sposa di Granata is reported by Caruselli's Grande Enciclopedia della Musica, but I think it's likely to be an error. I'll try to verify elsewhere, but in the meantime it is maybe preferable to correct into "La conquista di Granata" (which seems also very plausible from a historical point of view)Jeanambr (talk) 21:24, 13 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
