The Potrero Point stuff.

Are we sure it's right? I entered "Energy Commission" +"Potrero Point" into google and got back only two results -- one of them was this article, and the other was an obvious mirror thereof.

It seems to me that if this was a years-long controversy, it would make more of a dent. Can anybody refer me to what I'm missing here? --Christofurio 16:51, 29 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Apparently the problem is that what the earlier editor should have written was the California Public Utilities Commission. I'll fix it.

Merger with RRI

On Sunday, April 11, 2010 Mirant announced that it was merging with RRI energy (NYSE:RRI)

Merger and new company name

[edit]

Should this article be renamed to GenOn and the Mirant name be redirected there? As I understand it, Mirant no longer exists under that name. It is based in Houston, Texas, not Atlanta, Georgia, etc. HowardMorland (talk) 04:26, 7 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It sounds as if the two aren't the same - but for starters I don't see a topic for GenOn - seems that RRI Energy already addresses part of that. TEDickey (talk) 12:40, 7 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
