Cleft Palate
[edit]Can the introduction please be edited to something relative or have the cleft palete explained in context? Fcsuper 20:40, 27 April 2007 (UTC)
- Issue is resolved. Thank you. Fcsuper 06:38, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
- Well the issue was resolved by deletion, not by addition of appropriate context. Ironically, it was his cleft palate that led me to realize that he lacked an article. Now he's listed on the cleft palate page as a famous person with the congenital abnormality but there's no indication on this article that this is the case. His success in not letting the abnormality be a barrier to his legal and political career has been publicly noted. I just haven't found the sources yet. If others can contribute, I would appreciate it. Canuckle 21:29, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
- Canukle, possible context is the fact that he appears to be an advocate for cleft palate corrective surgery. I found one source that mentions him speaking about the matter, but I think we'd need a better source to establish it as notable. Here's the link I found though http://www.operationrainbowcanada.com/Rainbow_canada_charity_ball.htm Fcsuper 06:27, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
Barb McLintock quote
[edit]A quote from Barb McLintock was deleted. It was from The Tyee, described as a "poor source" by an admin. Yet McLintock is (was?) an award-winning investigative journalist with significant (decades?) experience monitoring and commenting on BC politics for The Province newspaper and elsewhere. The quote described Plant's frustrations with the difficulty of reform. I think it would be appropriate. Any comments? Canuckle 21:49, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
Non-Confidence Vote
[edit]Would someone mind adding a paragraph in the A.G. section about the non-confidence vote by the Law Society of British Columbia? I'm not very good at the coding.
