This article could use the inclusion of the Library of Congress image: https://www.loc.gov/item/93513261/ "George B. Grinnell and his wife on Grinnell Glacier" which says it has "No known restrictions on publication." Maybe the LOC or commons.wikimedia.org has an automatic image-reverse method; even if it was done on in a private image editor, the source would be the same.
Adding the image would partially address the article's missing personal/family/gay information. 71.230.16.111 (talk) 05:16, 17 October 2023 (UTC)
- Although the LOC has it labeled as a negative, it's clearly a positive print and you could use it as-is. The date on the photo means it is now in the public domain.
- As for the photo supplying biographical information, that's going to be a stretch. The documentation about the photo could perhaps support something, but images themselves usually cannot. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 07:52, 17 October 2023 (UTC)
- The point of the request was my understanding that IP editors can not upload images. By "biographical information" I meant only that the Bain News Service reported that he had a wife, Elizabeth Curtis Williams Grinnell in 1925. You can decide if the photo is worth adding.71.230.16.111 (talk) 09:45, 17 October 2023 (UTC)
