- ... that George Eisenbarth conducted twin studies showing that if one twin had type 1 diabetes, the other was also at risk of the disease? Source: "In particular he studied a group of identical twins in which only one of the twin pair had diabetes. Eisenbarth found that autoantibodies against the β cells of the pancreas could also be detected in the non-diabetic twin—who would, in the long run, go on to develop the disease."

- New enough and long enough. QPQ present. Hook fact is interesting, checks out, and is in article. Earwig mostly flags organization and award names and an included quote; no issues. Good to go. Sammi Brie (she/her • t • c) 01:43, 31 August 2022 (UTC)
- @97198 and Sammi Brie: might i suggest one?
- ALT1: ... that George Eisenbarth's "George graph", detailing stages of diabetes, was laughingly described as "the most over-shown graph ever"?
- I found it in The Lancet's summary – I can add it the article, if you'd like :) theleekycauldron (talk • contribs) (she/her) 10:26, 5 September 2022 (UTC)
- @Theleekycauldron: Yes, that checks out. Promoter will have ALT1 as an option if added. Sammi Brie (she/her • t • c) 00:03, 6 September 2022 (UTC)
