South Seattle Emerald on OPA findings

[edit]

While searching for information on a different incident I came across this article which might be of use, with reporting and links to the OPA's .pdf findings reports:

Length of protests

[edit]

The George Floyd protests in Seattle ended at the end of July 2021; ignoring this erases the efforts of Indiginous and Black led marches that continued well into 2021, such as Dexmaamxsgism Da Libaalx Protest which finally ceased the last Saturday of July 2021. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.214.38.138 (talk) 23:01, 29 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Non-primary source that marches were still going on by Labor Day:

I've reverted your edit as you changed every mention of Jenny Durkan to "Teargas Jenny". If this is the result of a "Drumpfinator"-type browser extension, I suggest you disable it before editing Wikipedia in future. The dates in the infobox should match what's in the article body: if events in July 2021 were written about in reliable sources, then add a mention to the article body, citing those sources, as well as to the infobox. – Arms & Hearts (talk) 18:13, 30 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Summer 2020 is crap; here's clear documentation that protests were ongoing in mid December. It is difficult to find coverage of protests into 2021 due to deliberate lack of media coverage. 50.214.38.138 (talk) 05:54, 31 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
