Breakup?

[edit]

I removed an unsourced entry that said the band broke up earlier this year. While one of the MySpace pages claiming to be the band does say there are no plans for this year, and that Hauke is 'recovering from 20 years of "misunderstandings"', there is no indication that the band has broken up, only "story to be continued". Another profile doesn't say anything about a breakup either. The Van Richter bio hasn't been updated in a while, but it doesn't mention their Traumatized album either, so I wouldn't take that to be evidence of anything one way or the other. Total overhaul

[edit]

I've done a total overhaul of this. When I arrived (because it was being WP:AFDed), the content was clearly a WP:COPYVIO for the most part, a copy-paste of their official page at Van Richter Records. I've based the overhaul on the then-better-developed w:de:Girls Under Glass article, plus additional sources, and the result is now better than the German one. There's still a lot of stuff that needs citations, but none of it appears to be controversial claims, and most of it can be found, bit by bit, in the sources already cited. It's just annoying to the reader (and a tremendous amount of editorial work – even doing the rewrite so far took over 10 hours) to pepper a simple sentence with 7 citations for factoids no one's going to challenge anyway.  — SMcCandlish ¢ 😼  01:34, 4 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

At this point is seems really well-sourced. While the list (count) of sources isn't huge, many of them are very in-depth and provided far more detail than expected. I had forgotten to take the old "More citations needed" tag off the top of the page (dating to 4+ years before the rewrite), but have now removed it. Any further, minute sourcing issues (I didn't see any obvious ones on another pass through it just now) should be tagged inline, e.g. with {{citation needed}}, so they can be more specifically addressed.  — SMcCandlish ¢ 😼  21:13, 21 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

New interview (2023-08-12)

[edit]

Just saw this come across my screen [1]. Might have something interesting in it that could be used under WP:ABOUTSELF rules.  — SMcCandlish ¢ 😼  23:28, 12 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
