This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... I have written a section on the commendation from reviewers and bag names in the Jazz world, which I believe asserts the band's importance and why it should be included in this encyclopedia --Fopnor (talk) 14:55, 21 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Fopnor you've basically made an advertisement here for the band, and as such I've deleted all the commercial spam links to performances. Wiki is not a page to sell tickets for the band's shows. If you want to prove they played at one of those venues, put up an independent source such as a review of the show. And don't use the official website as a source throughout the article. Trying to prove the band's worth by listing long quotes makes the article read with strong promotional tone and there was hardly any neutrality. I suggest reading all the information on WP:POV or a start before you edit further on this page. I've added the advertisement due to all of these reasons. If you attempt to put all that information back up, simply do it in a neutral tone and use INDEPENDENT verifiable sources. Not the band's website or performance schedule (WIKI is not a shop page to sell the band's gig tickets). Tjcam (talk) 22:49, 2 July 2014 (UTC)
I also should have added that I have put the advert tag on the page and will monitor for awhile to make sure all the promotions don't reappear, but the page as it stands doesn't actually read as an advertisement. If it's all put back up sourced and neutral, then it should be taken down of course. Tjcam (talk) 22:58, 2 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I added some additional references on the band's musical style, recently published in the Guardian.
The Link to the newly published album "A Humdrum Star" runs empty. Does anybody have the editorial expertise and enough original sources to write the wikipedia page on that album?
