Single order
[edit]According to Rolling Stone and The Mercury News, "God Control" is the third single of Madame X. Unless there are reliable sources describing otherwise, this article should also say that "God Control" is the third single. In Madame X (album), "Medellín" and "Crave" are listed as the first and second singles and Madame X (album) § Singles doesn't mention any other preceding singles. — Newslinger talk 22:10, 30 June 2019 (UTC)
- Actually, "God Control" was never confirmed as a single by Madonna, her team, or her label. It's written just as a "song" with a music video. Both "Medellín" and "Crave" were officially sent to radio. Bluesatellite (talk) 05:53, 1 July 2019 (UTC)

- Do you mind adding another positive take to the music critic portion here?
- I've mentioned the comparisons to 'Bohemian Rhapsody', let me know if it's OK
- You are taking it a bit out of context there. Just remove it. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 18:45, 15 May 2020 (UTC)

Background and synopsis
[edit]- Thousand Oaks shootings.[20][23][25][24] → four source in a row make the text very clunky, lets make a maximum of three
- Regarding the statement above, a full stop midsentece would do the trick with the respective sources.
- across the screen → remove
- The image should appear first
- What do you mean @MarioSoulTruthFan:?--Christian (talk) 17:47, 15 May 2020 (UTC)
- I mean put the image on top of the section. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 17:52, 15 May 2020 (UTC)
- I decided tu put the image there, as it was next to the actual synopsis of the video, but I've changed it.--Christian (talk) 17:56, 15 May 2020 (UTC)

Reception
[edit]- There is no need for the quote box to disrupte another section, it could be above or make it a litlle bit bigger
- I left it here as it looked (on my computer) aesthetically pleasing, it didn't 'cut' or overlapped text or the other section. Let me know if I should change it.
- So it depends on the screen I see, move it to the top of the section like the previous image. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 18:31, 15 May 2020 (UTC)
- All done @MarioSoulTruthFan: (I've also made it a little wider.--Christian (talk) 19:52, 15 May 2020 (UTC)

- Ryan Reed from Rolling Stone quotes are giving a copyright violation of 54% you need to fix that, use your own words.
- Same as previous apply to People magazine quotes but in much lesser degree
- Let me know if this and previous points are correct now
- using her "platform" to raise awareness → I don't unsertand this, can you explain it?
- That's how the sources quotes it; changed it to "bringing awareness", let me know if it's correct
- Much better. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 18:31, 15 May 2020 (UTC)

Live performances
[edit]- Madonna then appeared decked in a Revolutionary War attire → not on given source
- From Variety Source: ...like when she does the Hustle in the aforementioned Revolutionary War costume during “God Control”

Credits and personnel
[edit]- Mastering and mixing?
- I tried to search for the album's complete credits but I couldn't find them; the liner notes don't list the either. Just the writers, producers and backing vocals
- It's fine. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 15:53, 15 May 2020 (UTC)

[edit]- Wikilink the first instance of Billboard
- Muumuse doesn't strike me as a reliable source, with an entire section dedicated to Britney Spears. So please remove it.

- I've fixed the lead section @MarioSoulTruthFan:; what other issues need addressing? o: --Christian (talk) 18:59, 15 May 2020 (UTC)
- @MarioSoulTruthFan: I think I finally got the reduction of the Rolling Stone 'violation' fixed; let me know if it works. Also, out of topic, but I seem to remember there was a tool here in wiki that helped you see how much quotations you were using on an article, do you know which one is it?--Christian (talk) 19:26, 15 May 2020 (UTC)
