law school
[edit]We are told by the law school that its bar pass rate is back up near the 70% mark. Tom Cod 08:14, 19 October 2007 (UTC)
There is NO WAY that GGU has an $800 million endowment. USNEWS lists it around $20 million. Can someone confirm and correct this number? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.198.75.174 (talk) 23:21, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
Yeah, I saw that too, NO WAY. It may well be the university's worth in equity since they own a lot of prime real estate and other investments, which should not be confused with endowment. I cut/paste the amount shown on USNEWS. $21,151,867 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.193.198.24 (talk)
notable faculty
[edit]if anybody knows any notable faculty please start a notable faculty section. same with the school of law.
No vanity listings, please
[edit]fellow law alumni, with all due respect, unless you've been elevated to the bench or have some other notable achievement within the meaning of Wikipedia's definitions thereof (which "associate", "deputy PD", "deputy DA" or "staff attorney" do not rise to), please do not clutter up the notable alumni portion with your listing or that of your friends, otherwise all of us who graduated and passed the bar and have practiced for a few years could rightly be listed also; this is not the class notes section of the alumni magazine. Thanks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.16.198.152 (talk) 22:46, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
Merge with Golden Gate University School of Law
[edit]As much as the Law School would prefer to be considered separate, it is still a part of Golden Gate University and should not be separate, unless separate entries will be made for the other four schools. That is just my $.02. Musiclover (talk) 23:32, 11 February 2009 (UTC)
On Harvard:
"As much as the Law School would prefer to be considered separate, it is still a part of Harvard University and should not be separate, unless separate entries will be made for the other four schools. That is just my $.02."
On Stanford:
"As much as the Law School would prefer to be considered separate, it is still a part of Stanford University and should not be separate, unless separate entries will be made for the other four schools. That is just my $.02."
And so on and so forth... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.6.235.135 (talk) 07:29, 28 April 2009 (UTC)
