Date he ceased being Governor of WA[edit]

Does anyone know exactly when he left the position? I know it was 1989. I've seen obits from late 1989, which indicate he did not die in office, but I've found no precise date when his term ended. -- JackofOz (talk) 21:16, 5 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
