Term in Legislative Council

There is an error in the Parliamentary Record at Part 3 which lists him as being a member from 23 April 1934 until 22 April 1943, finishing on the expiry of his term. (page 40) His parliamentary biography has the same error.

He was not actually elected at the 1933 election, published in the gazette and he doesn't appear in the Council Hansard for 24 April 1934. The results of the 1935 election, published in the gazette show Waddell as winning a seat, which would not happen if he had won a 9 year term in 1934. He served until 1949 when he did not seek re-election. --Find bruce (talk) 23:49, 26 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
