Hello -- I've added the biographical information from the Hallmark article and the Grove article along with information about musical style from the two dissertations that discuss his style. Please be advised that the second dissertation is my own -- I believe that by disclosing this and by showing a peer-reviewed source where these facts have been accepted and cited, I've taken care of WP's conflict of interest policy, but of course others should always check these types of additions. I've removed the "stub" label, because I think I can only think of at most one more paragraph (on original sources and modern editions) that could be added to the article; it's still short, but it's nearly complete. -- Michael Scott Cuthbert(talk)15:30, 31 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
