What is this? a joke? Blogs do not generate news and encyclopedias are not the place to report "breaking news" for the first time. Find a credible source or zip it. Skywriter 23:15, 8 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

notability

[edit]

With all due respect to those that raised the question, I do not think that there can now be any doubt regarding the notability of Greg Mitchell's contributions. His coverage of Wikileaks since the release of the diplomatic cables has contributed immensely to the the public discussion, and it has been a reliable and informative resource for many interested parties. It is easily comparable the Guardian Newspaper Wikileaks cables timeline. In addition, he has a book in press about the subject, which may be the first to press. Moreover, I do not think that Greg Mitchell's journalistic credentials could possibly be doubted. Let's put the notability question to rest.
