Fair use rationale for Image:BTDno0finals.jpg

[edit]

Image:BTDno0finals.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

The 25th Anniversary of Grendel

[edit]

2007 marks the 25th anniversary of Matt Wagner's seminole creation, Grendel! To mark this anniversary, Dark Horse has gone all out with Grendel festivities this year. They've released two hardback collections, one of Devil by the Deed, the other called The Grendel Archives. The archives release reprints (for the first time) the first appearance of Grendel from Comico Primer #2 and the original black and white three-part mini-series. There is also a new monthly series, 'Behold the Devil', a commemorative t-shirt, and more!

I think this entire section should be removed. It feels more like advertising than an encyclopedia entry. Also it has misspelt 'seminal' (which is also opinion), not used italics for literary titles and uses exclamation marks.--FruitMonkey 08:23, 8 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A lot of this page looks like it has been written, or re-written, by advertisers. I'm trying to clean it up now, but another pair of eyes and hands would be great. 64.95.27.5 21:08, 29 August 2007 (UTC)sean[reply]

Devil's Asshole

[edit]

I removed the section about this story. It is NOT a Grendel story, it's a biographical story from Matt Wagner's early career in comics. Other than being about Matt Wagner, it is not even related to Grendel. Heck, Wagner didn't even write or draw it. Whoever added it, I presume, did so without owning the issue and based solely on the fact that the title the follows the formula for the titles of Grendel stories in general. 24.128.176.238 (talk) 22:21, 22 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
