Why is Sri Gurinder Singh Ji called a sevadar rather than as a guru, and successor of Charan Singh?? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.188.183.89 (talk) 09:38, 26 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

"Baba" title

[edit]

The "Baba" title is not to be used as part of his name as he was not born with it. Please see WP:TITLESINTITLES for the relevant guidelines. Rabbis are not referred to as "Rabbi Lastname" nor are priests referred to as "Father Firstname" or "Bishop Lastname". The article mentions that he is called Baba Ji by his followers, however that does not obligate Wikipedia to do the same. Other articles follow the same guidelines, such as Elizabeth II where she is not referred to as "Queen Elizabeth". ... discospinster talk 17:01, 13 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
