According to this article in the Journal of Liberal History, http://www.liberalhistory.org.uk/uploads/25_jones_a_breach_in_the_family.pdf , Gwilym used the spelling "Lloyd-George" not "Lloyd George" - "In his new post Lloyd-George (his use of the hyphen was significant)." Should the article be moved to include it? Timrollpickering (talk) 18:58, 17 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Gwilym took to hyphenating his name (unlike his father), although I haven't tracked down when he began to do so.Paulturtle (talk) 03:03, 18 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
ODNB says he began to hyphenate after World War II. Which leads me to wonder: should the article be renamed accordingly? Atchom (talk) 17:08, 20 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I have also found a source in this book - https://books.google.co.uk/books?id=dnmdD1Pk5BMC&lpg=PA472&ots=Z2Nlcts8R3&dq=lloyd%20george%20hyphenated&pg=PA392#v=onepage&q=epilogue&f=false - p392 and the associated footnote (9). Lloyd George and Churchill: Rivals for Greatness. Sources for Gwilym's father suggest the peerage title was also hyphenated (including in Hansard), if that is relevant.
