the page is translation of the hungarian wikipedia user:Sil

Firstly i have no idea how this article is not obviously relevant.

Also i do not understand why U DELETED the cite of the book and u deleted with that ALL the big polititians tagged into it. They were ALL IN CONNECTION with this famous ORIENTALIST. ALL has already wikipedia page.

Once SOMEONE WAS LIVING AND WORKING in such HONOURABLE CIRCLES - IT OBVIOUSLY HAVE PLACE IN such an encyclopedia.

Secondly THE PAGE IS UNDER CONSTRUCION THATS WHY IT IS SO SHORT

DONT CROSSEDIT PLEASE I was gonna sign it. --Sillis (talk) 12:19, 5 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You cannot simply take a portion of a book and paste it onto Wikipedia, especially without a reference to the original source. It's a copyright violation. I removed it to protect Wikipedia. If you would like to use the text (as well as prove notability), please provide some references for your work. OlYellerTalktome 13:15, 5 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

CITE AND PASTE IS TWO DIFFERENT THING + this WAS VISIBLY CITATION "" I WROTE the reference TO THE edit summery WOULD U PLS REDO BOTH THE CITATION AND ITS REF THANKS--80.253.189.58 (talk) 17:27, 5 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No, I won't. I didn't see a clear citation. Also, I'd appreciate it if you didn't write in all caps and spoke like an adult instead of a 12 year old on a cell phone. OlYellerTalktome 17:48, 5 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

capitals were intended to make a difference I change if it is missleading+ in my opinion childish is crossediting + i might be a bit slow but u dont have patience to wait an hour or day to touch the upcoming pages + sorry to hear that the book name "Allah Akbar" by Gyula Germanus does not appear in the line for u check it agin pls http://openlibrary.org/authors/OL109627A/Germanus_Gyula http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=6377398887#!/group.php?gid=6377398887&v=info http://www.whymuhammad.com/en/contents.aspx?aid=6488 --Sillis (talk) 07:11, 6 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Response to Sillis

[edit]

I've made this a separate section so that my response can be easily read. I'm not sure if English is your first language so I'll try to be as clear as possible.

First off, I think you've misinterpreted everything I've done here. My goal is to improve Wikipedia and help new users to not only create new articles but to understand Wikipedia better so that they can avoid issues in the future.

Secondly, your tone towards me has been less than favorable. You call me childish for cross editing but you yourself state that you're a slow editor so I fail to see how that's my fault. You do not WP:OWN this article so you don't have priority to make edits over others. Also, as I've stated before, your use of bold, italics, and capital letters to essentially yell at me really isn't needed. I'm very capable of hearing out your opinions and changing mine if needed.

Lastly, I'm somewhat unclear as to your experience on Wikipedia. You obviously have some that you've gained before creating this account. Regardless, you need to familiarize yourself with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. For instance, a Facebook page is not a reliable source of information and cannot be used as a reference. I think you would also benefit from reading over WP:CIVIL and WP:NOTABILITY. Again, please remember to sign your posts after you make them. You also don't need to make several edits to post one comment; try using the Preview button.

I hope we can move on civilly from here. If I'm doing something that's upsetting you, please let me know in a civil and constructive manner and I'll do my best to accommodate you. Volna egy jó nap! OlYellerTalktome 12:35, 9 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Editing

[edit]

Thank U! Thats very kind )) U know that the writers are also making an effort though they might not be perfect. Let me finish this interlude with that i was not the first to use the word childish - mine was the response.

  • I was just about revising the page according to the english wikiinfo - WP:CIVIL and WP:NOTABILITY. :)))
  • Facebook link is not intended to be a reference! It is among the links to www.
  • I changed the grammar to present tense- for english pages dont seem to have so much pp.
  • I want to tag in some pics as well from hungarian wiki page.

Is that fine?

Yes - the editing - i review myself - and want to ask others 2 -but as far as i know the text is not visible elsewhere. --Sillis (talk) 10:48, 11 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sounds good to me. I read over the Hungarian page as well and see that notability is very well established so I know that the article won't have any issues, especially after you're done editing. Good luck! OlYellerTalktome 12:38, 11 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

thanks- i put the hangon tag to the page - why was that deleted? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sillis (talkcontribs) 21:09, 11 July 2010 (UTC) --Sillis (talk) 21:11, 11 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The hangon tag is only used on EN Wiki when there's a speedy deletion tag placed on the article. I didn't see a speedy deletion tag so I'm guessing that's why someone deleted the hangon. OlYellerTalktome 22:03, 11 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

oh sorry lets work --Sillis (talk) 18:58, 12 July 2010 (UTC) with hope its final now (not to be deleted) --Sillis (talk) 09:05, 13 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I'd like to make anyone reading aware that I was not the first to call you childish. Here's where you called me childish on July 6th and here's where I responded on July 9th. If you continue to make misleading changes to your original comments and/or say that I'm doing things that I am not, I will be taking action. I extended an olive branch to you in good faith and I'm losing my patients. Let's please keep things civil from now on. Hope your day is going well. OlYellerTalktome 12:46, 13 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
