Page Title[edit]

I've just renamed this article back to it's original title. This title is the official title of the bill, as provided by the U.S. Congress. They get to choose the name. I do appreciate Konveyor Belt's notion for simplicity, but just naming the article "H.R. 3174" is way too simple. There are dozens, if not hundreds, of bill in existence that are "H.R. 3174." The rest of the title is needed to indicate which of the many H.R. 3174s we are talkinga bout. This is also the standard name formula used by several hundred other bills from this congress. See List of bills in the 113th United States Congress for other examples. If anyone has any other questions about this, please let me know. Thanks. Why don't we name it H.R. 3174 (113th Congress)? Konveyor Belt express your horror at my edits 19:05, 30 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Because you're still removing information from the title, unnecessarily, I think. If you just call it "H.R. 3174" no one has any idea what the bill is actually about. As it is, you know that the bill deals with the Sec of Transportation, emergency relief, damage from weather, and the year 2013. Why would you want to remove that from anything? The long title isn't a burden to anyone, and it is much more accurate. HistoricMN44 (talk) 19:09, 30 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
The title of a page need not explain the whole article, per WP:PRECISE. Konveyor Belt express your horror at my edits 19:14, 30 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Okay... but it doesn't do that. The article is just using the official title of the bill as the official title of the article. Why is that an issue? HistoricMN44 (talk) 19:17, 30 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
