Fair use rationale for Image:New Kids on the Block-Hangin' Tough (album cover).jpg
[edit]Image:New Kids on the Block-Hangin' Tough (album cover).jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 16:59, 4 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Hangin' Tough. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20120502161901/http://www.bpi.co.uk/certifiedawards/search.aspx to http://www.bpi.co.uk/certifiedawards/search.aspx
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.

Plainlist
[edit]Hi @User:Ss112, you recently made some changes to the formatting of this page, and I noticed that you removed the {{plainlist| parameter from the infobox. I've seen this happen on other pages as well (not necessarily by you), and I'm curious to know why this template seems to be disappearing. Thanks! Revirvlkodlaku (talk) 14:46, 9 August 2023 (UTC) Hi @User:Ss112, I'd love it if you could respond to me on this. Thanks! Revirvlkodlaku (talk) 02:49, 12 August 2023 (UTC)
- @Revirvlkodlaku: I have pings turned off. I didn't remove a plainlist, I removed the hard-coded flatlist formatting (plainlist and hlist/flatlist formatting are different). Hard-coded list formatting is no longer needed in the infobox because using bullet points for most parameters automatically renders them as an hlist/flatlist per Template:Infobox album (you can see it still does this after my edit), so there's no need to include the hard-coded formatting any longer. Thanks. Ss112 14:02, 13 August 2023 (UTC)
- I see, thanks for explaining. I wasn't aware of the difference between plainlist and flatlist. Where can I find more information on this? Revirvlkodlaku (talk) 14:10, 13 August 2023 (UTC)
- @Revirvlkodlaku: More information on what? Template:Plainlist and Template:Flatlist have always been different. As for when the template updated, why would you assume I know when this happened? You are just as capable as I am to have looked through the archives on Template talk:Infobox album to find that this became a thing in 2016: Template talk:Infobox album/Archive 11#Harmonization with other music templates. What more information you want I don't know, but this is not an urgent matter whatsoever, so you do not need to keep posting on my talk page to get replies, especially after I've just removed the thread you started. Thank you. Ss112 15:48, 13 August 2023 (UTC)
- @User:Ss112, thanks for the info, but geez, you sure make it sound difficult to be a pleasant, helpful person. Revirvlkodlaku (talk) 15:59, 13 August 2023 (UTC)
- @Revirvlkodlaku: I find it rude to insist to editors who've made it clear they don't like to be bothered (pings turned off, removing your thread) that they answer a not-at-all-urgent question. I also found your presumption that just because I made an edit in line with a template's formatting that I must know how that template formatting came to be strange. Ss112 16:18, 13 August 2023 (UTC)
