If he won that Demidov prize, why he isn't included in the List of Demidov Prize laureates? - Darwinek (talk) 15:24, 1 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Demidov Prize was either 5000 or 2500 rubles, Slonimski was awarded 2500 ruble prize. He's not listed in the List of Demidov Prize laureates, because this article inculdes only the winners of 5000 ruble prize. M0RD00R (talk) 20:40, 1 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. It should be noted in this list however. - Darwinek (talk) 23:19, 1 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Should not present difficulties, since both are mostly ripped off the Jewish Encyclopedia (public deomain). Staszek Lem (talk) 23:26, 8 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

"Chaim" rather than "Hayyim" is probably by far the more typical form for spelling this first name in English now (whatever might have been common in 1906 when the JE was written). Jheald (talk) 22:57, 12 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Whatever the name must be, I'd suggest merge first into the very old article and rename later. Staszek Lem (talk) 03:25, 13 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
