I've stated the genre as "described as" opposed to is. Unless there is some overwhelming push for one genre over the other (which there doesn't appear to be from the prose), we might as well list what they have been described as. As neither source goes particularly into depth of why the song fits the genre, we should state that they have been described this way opposed that they are.
