Randy Pitchford at Gearbox Software has his fingers in a lot of digital pies. In addition to the Brothers-in-Arms series, Gearbox has worked on a Wii version of Samba De Amigo, PC versions of the Halo games and is developing Aliens: Colonial Marines. But Gearbox also has the option to create a game based on the Michael Mann film Heat, should the opportunity arise. In 2007, Pitchford said they hadn't even started work on the game and were still in discussions with the movie people. He hasn't made any official announcements about Heat, but we're not optimistic that a videogame version will happen any time soon."
