Himansu Rai portait[edit]

The picture is most probably not Himansu Rai's portait but Najmul Hasan's (also known as Najam-ul-Hasan, Najmul Hussein or Najmal, among others). It's a cropped version of a Jawani Ki Hawa (1935) movie still. The entire picture can be seen here. Most of the movie takes place in a train, and we can even see that the two characters (Devika Rania and Najmul Hasan) are at a wagon window.

The only movie where Devika Rani and Himansu Rai shared the screen is Karma (1933). And this picture does not come from this movie which is currently available on Youtube.

This picture is used in several versions of this article on Wikipedia (german, hindi etc.) so changing it would have a global impact. MelAntipam (talk) 22:58, 2 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
