Proposal for new section: Significant contributions

[edit]

Greetings,

One thing I noticed in this article is the absence of people who contributed to US Catholic education. Wondering if it makes sense to add another section? For example:

Significant contributions

The following is a list of some of the major contributors to Catholic education.

If this is helpful, I would like to add the above...not certain of exactly where to position within the article so that it would fit in nicely.

This type of information would be best expressed in prose. A list in this higher level topic doesn't do much service to their individual importance. "Significant contributions" doesn't have a clear scope, either. Would be best to only mention them if they need mention to tell the history (this topic), and then to place them in whatever section bests encapsulates their individual contributions, as determined by the reliable sources. czar  20:24, 6 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
