References!!!! Ahchtung!
[edit]Why do people copy-paste refs without checking? Lets see the Pafomov's case: JETP 36 1321 (1959) Are you sure? Maybe JETP 9 1321 (1959), or JETP 36 1853 (1959) ? Can anyone confirm? P.S. This is not phys rev journal, you can leave the actual title in the reference here. Even in Russian. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 180.48.109.18 (talk) 14:45, 20 December 2013 (UTC)

What is a metamaterial? Why is there not an article that explains this?
[edit]This article would be fine as a companion to a metamaterial article, but as the only article that attempts to unify the individual articles on various types of metamaterials, IMO it's very disappointing. What's a metamaterial? Who cares? Let's talk about the history of an undefined term for several whole sections before giving a simplistic one-sentence definition! The fact that the intro is IMHO poorly written in addition to failing to provide the reader with any inkling of what it's providing a history of just makes the article all the more frustrating. -- Ataru (talk) 17:58, 23 January 2022 (UTC)
