How is this article devoid of mentions of slaves and slavery?
[edit]The University itself has been documenting this history in the past 10 years, after initially ignoring it. The Wikipedia entry should have at least a couple of sentences about slaves' role at the university. https://libra2.lib.virginia.edu/public_view/1v53jx044 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.138.219.111 (talk) 19:25, 23 July 2017 (UTC)

When was the name University of Virginia first used?
[edit]The University was founded as Cental College. Article should clarify when it became the University of Virginia. deisenbe (talk) 11:43, 29 October 2019 (UTC)
