  • Link television miniseries.
    • Surely not worth linking such a common and self-explanatory term.
  • The lead's quite short, could be expanded with reception, production, etc.
    • Extended
  • "adapts quite faithfully the events until" → "adapts the events in the book faithfully until"
    • Fixed.
  • Hobbits should be capitalized, this needs to be done throughout the article.
    • Fixed.
  • Add Frodo and Sam's last names
    • Done.
  • "The series is divided into nine episodes" → Maybe move this later into the paragraph, after mentioning what the series is based on.
    • Done.
  • Link War of the Ring.
    • Done.
  • Add Merry and Pippin's last names, and maybe specify that these are their nicknames.
    • Added; not sure this article is that place for talking about nicknames.
  • "the Barrow-wight" → "a Barrow-wight"?
    • All right; only one is ever encountered but there must once have been many.
  • Link Fellowship of the Ring at first mention instead of second.
    • Done.
  • Link Orc.
    • Done.
  • "Gandalf apparently dies." → " Gandalf apparently dies in a fight with a Balrog." Since you mention the Balrog later.
    • Done.
  • It isn't mentioned that Strider is actually Aragorn.
    • Added.
  • "new family-produced" → Is this necessary? Also, what does family-produced mean?
    • Yes, it's a distinctive feature. It just means "produced by members of a family", as it sounds.
  • "such as" → "including"
    • OK for variety, it's not exactly better.
