The article says: "This family produced some of the greatest rabbinic scholars (Sephardic) of France and Italy in the 12, 13, and 14th centuries." How is this possible if the patriarch of the family is thought to have lived in the 16th century? Sounds like a lot of retrospective myth-making.-- (talk) 08:58, 21 October 2016 (UTC)
