I see that user:86.134.67.240 has added a pronunciation but with no supporting evidence. Can anyone confirm or deny that it is even probably true, Evidence would be better. --𝕁𝕄𝔽 (talk) 16:15, 6 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
There are umpteen references to this.
I've cited one from the village website. Here are many other references in published books:

Thank you, that was helpful. Your citation was good as it stood, I just prettified it and added a relevant quotation. (I asked because Milton Keynes also began as KAYNZ but somehow got "corrected". I wondered how widespread this change was.) --𝕁𝕄𝔽 (talk) 15:08, 7 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
