Tammany Hall Tidbit[edit]

The Hotel Claridge served as Campaign Headquarters for Tammany Hall's candidate for Sheriff. He was sitting by appointment as County Jury Clerk of The New York State Supreme Court. Editors fyi: I uploaded two scans of Hotel Claridge letterhead to Wikimedia Commons. The scans are in the hotel's Category section there: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Hotel_Claridge_(New_York_City)
