Arrest is not a conviction
[edit]The section about Operation Cross Country X lists the names of several alleged "sex trafficking" perpetrators. WP:BLPCRIME advise that when writing about people accused of crimes, editors should seriously consider not identifying living people unless and until they have been convicted of the crimes that they have been accused of. An arrest is not a conviction, only the start of a judicial process that might lead to conviction. The article should report about what happened to the arrested people after they were tried for their alleged offending. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 01:28, 7 May 2024 (UTC)
