Original Company Name[edit]

This obviously self-promotional article forwards from a previous article which was titled under the company's previous name, "International Creative Management." All references to the previous company's name have been removed along with other relevant historical information. It is suggested that either this information is returned to the page for historical accuracy, or the forward is removed and the history of the original company is returned to its own page. Looking forward to editors suggestions to avoid an undo. This is a clear case of a company controlling the content of a page. Eyharburg (talk) 02:24, 16 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Can you provide links to show the removal of the original content? If there have been such removals, I would dispute them as well, particularly if the content was properly sourced. I took a look and found the edits of this IP who made some dubious removals. Are these the removals you mean? Also, trying to claim ICM is controlling this page's content is a bit of a stretch simply based on some content blanking.  Mbinebri  talk ← 20:10, 16 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

List of Artists[edit]

It is not clear that a list of artists ever represented by ICM is useful; restricting the list to "notable" people begs the question of who is notable. Also, there seems to be no way to ensure that the list is accurate... no sources to cite, except possibly the home page of each artist, and that would be cumbersome. Can anyone suggest a way to optimize this situation? Myron (talk) 00:16, 17 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • For two months no one has provided justification for maintaining an incomplete, possibly inaccurate, easily vandalized, unverifiable and apparently useless list of "notables" ever represented by ICM. I will delete the list if no objection arises. Myron (talk) 11:35, 7 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • As per the above I have deleted the list of artists. Myron (talk) 15:55, 20 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"Departments"[edit]

I have re-deleted this section. I am not interested in edit warring, but promotional material is being consistently re-added to this page. For starters, this section is far too long. It is also not neutral in several places, at some points hightly promotional ("Hollywood’s best-known names", "several noted executive producers", "prominent", etc) and it also includes unencylopedic ad-speak such as "ICM’s global branded entertainment division leverages the agency’s extraordinary talent and intellectual property assets". C'mon, this is an encylopedia we're writing here, not brochures for investors. If you want to list the departments, list the departments and please skip the sales pitch. Lists of names[edit]

Lists of names in this article should be sourced in accordance with WP:BLP. As there is no way of constantly maintaining linked articles, this applies to names which have a Wikipedia article as well as those that do not. Any name listed with no verifiable citations should be removed. Refer to WP:NLIST for guidance. As per the above discussion in 2008, I have removed the unmaintained and trivial list of names claimed to be represented. (talk) 18:38, 24 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Again in 2013 the lists of names have not been sourced in accordance with WP:BLP. As per the above discussions in 2008, and 2010 I have removed the unmaintained and trivial list of names claimed to be represented. HollywoodHerodutus (talk) 15:45, 16 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Suggest that the list of notable agents at the company be removed - there is too much turnover to keep this list accurate
