Requested move[edit]

IRC operator is not a proper noun, should be titled according to WP:NC#Lowercase_second_and_subsequent_words. Fugg 03:55, 30 October 2005 (UTC)

Move complete. Rob Church Talk 22:31, 4 November 2005 (UTC)

Article is very oriented towards UnrealIRCd[edit]

Many IRC servers do not have z:line, and on some IRC servers, k:lines are global. Additionally, not all IRC server software implement the Unreal scheme of operator ranking, and instead have simple admin and operator classes. Moreover, other IRC software allows ranks to be defined dynamically. --nenolod (talk) 06:00, 15 May 2007 (UTC)

IRCop types[edit]

some IRC operator types are missing. such as the Server Admin, or the Co-Admin. Please add them. thank you. DorTheScripter 21:25, 15 July 2007 (UTC)

Image[edit]

Is the picture (IRC - now op.svg) really necessary? It seems like it serves no purpose. LiteralKa (talk) 19:36, 16 August 2010 (UTC)
