[edit]I've reverted the re-addition of this content, the reason being that Wikipedia relies on reliable, third-party sources. To my knowledge, none of this info has been supported by such sources, and when the additions are being disputed as inaccurate, that's really just extra. If someone can find one of these sources covering any of this, then it's a different story, but as it stands now, it's not appropriate for the article. Eik Corell (talk) 15:45, 26 July 2017 (UTC)
- Quite right. The bizarre claim that 'The License has now expired for IL-2 Sturmovik: 1946' was not only unsourced but nonsensical - copyright isn't a 'license', and is generally valid for around 70 years, depending on jurisdiction. As for modder groups, there have been quite a few over the years, but none have had any official connection with game development, and without adequate third-party sourcing it is improper to imply that one is any more significant than any other. Lots of people hack games, but Wikipedia doesn't list them all. 31.48.240.103 (talk) 03:20, 28 July 2017 (UTC)
- Since it appears that none of the contributors responsible for these inappropriate edits are willing to enter into discussion, I have raised the matter at WP:ANI. [1] 2A00:23C1:8250:6F01:D9F6:91AE:F279:43C5 (talk) 01:33, 3 August 2017 (UTC)
- It should also be noted that one of the contributors of this disputed material shares an unusual user name with one of the major contributors to a website s/he has been linking. Perhaps a perusal of WP:COI might be appropriate? 2A00:23C1:8250:6F01:D9F6:91AE:F279:43C5 (talk) 01:43, 3 August 2017 (UTC)
