GA Review

Beginning review Afaber012 (talk) 04:06, 23 August 2009 (UTC)
- GA Approved - No real issues that I could find. The images are used properly in terms of copyright/fair use/etc, its referenced appropriately, all good.
- A suggestion though would be to move the bit near the end of the lead about Samoa Joe's and Kurt Angle's reigns as single wrestlers rather than as part of a team into a seperate section, possibly a sub-section under Reigns, particularly if there were other title reigns or events connected to the title that were especially notable that could be described. Of course, this would be even more suitable down the track when there's more history to the title. Afaber012 (talk) 06:46, 23 August 2009 (UTC)
Spoilers
[edit]Has the policy about waiting until a show has aired in the US changed? This page has just spoilt an event result for me... Pigs Might Fly Music (talk) 14:02, 9 May 2010 (UTC)
- The policy has always been to add spoilers if a reliable source exist. Editors of WP:PW didn't like spoilers so they ignored the rule.--WillC 04:35, 10 May 2010 (UTC)
Freebird Rule
[edit]At Sacrifice, while The Band was entering, Tenay said that The Band have the freebird rule on their reign. The list of champions and main page should be updated to reflect this. Also, Nash said it during their backstage interview before the match —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.177.8.38 (talk) 05:53, 18 May 2010 (UTC)
Here's the deal:
When the Beautiful People won the Knockouts Tag belts, they came out right away and made Lacey a co-champion, so when they put up the picture of the new champions, all 3 of them were on there.
When Hall and Nash won the tag straps, they added EY later on.
Even though EY's picture isn't up, it was made quite clear that they're doing the Freebird thing with the 3 of them (Hall, Nash, and Young).
By allowing EY to defend the titles, TNA is acknowledging that EY is considered as part of the championship team, therefore he's a co-champion.

Bromans.
[edit]Bromans won the belts on March 3rd or so. So, why does it say they won the titles April 9th?! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.16.157.123 (talk) 02:47, 18 April 2014 (UTC)
The Hardys - not The Broken Hardys
[edit]As recently as this past week on Impact, Matt and Jeff are calling themselves the Hardys. AFAIK it's the official name for them and always has been. The "Broken" moniker is a nickname which has no relevance to the title list. If TNA are officially calling them the Broken Hardys a source is needed. 101.182.161.253 (talk) 08:06, 4 December 2016 (UTC)
They are still listed as Broken Matt and Brother Nero, The Broken Hardys. Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 08:07, 4 December 2016 (UTC)
Where? Provide a source. 101.182.161.253 (talk) 08:08, 4 December 2016 (UTC)
ImpactWrestling.com I've told you this already. Stop removing it from the page until you can provide a source saying other wise. Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 08:10, 4 December 2016 (UTC)
Provide a link. The onus is on you to provide proof, not me. 101.182.161.253 (talk) 08:11, 4 December 2016 (UTC)
You are removing content without a source, you are now edit warring, and violated 3RR. You need to provide a source to remove content. You can't just remove content without a source. Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 08:14, 4 December 2016 (UTC)
"but were defeated by the Hardys after simultaneous Twists Of Fate" [1] 101.182.161.253 (talk) 08:28, 4 December 2016 (UTC)
I am restoring original content that lacked a source for the change. YOU need to provide the source for the change. They are THE HARDYS! And have been since they were born! 101.182.161.253 (talk) 08:16, 4 December 2016 (UTC)
TNA has called them The Broken Hardys since they reformed which has been noted on their wiki page by other users. TNA still calls them Broken Hardys on their site. You restored nothing you removed content that was placed there by other users months ago. You gave no source for removal and no consensus for removal. Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 08:20, 4 December 2016 (UTC)
There is NO MENTION of Broken Hardys on the Impact website. None. The rest of that is your opinion which is meaningless. Source your change! 101.182.161.253 (talk) 08:21, 4 December 2016 (UTC)
You are clearly not here to work with other editors, you have provided no source to remove the content that was placed there months ago and you have no consensus to remove without source. Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 08:25, 4 December 2016 (UTC)
No that's you, because you refuse to provide a link to prove they are the Broken Hardys officially. 101.182.161.253 (talk) 08:26, 4 December 2016 (UTC)
"but were defeated by the Hardys after simultaneous Twists Of Fate" [2] 101.182.161.253 (talk) 08:29, 4 December 2016 (UTC)
And further proof from an independent source - no mention of Broken Hardys but several mentions of the Hardys. [3] 101.182.161.253 (talk) 08:33, 4 December 2016 (UTC)
Wow.....so instead of providing a SOURCE in the first place like I told you to do showing they were not calling them that you edit war over it violate 3RR, when you could provide a SOURCE that validates the removal of content? Wow just wow, clearly your not here to work with other editors or you would have provided the source to begin with Instead of acting like you did. Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 08:40, 4 December 2016 (UTC)
The onus was never on me. But as YOU refused to provide a source I had to prove you wrong even though I didn't really need to. Now do you accept my edit as correct? 101.182.161.253 (talk) 08:50, 4 December 2016 (UTC)
First off, I don't have to provide you with a source when you are removing content from an article without providing a source, when the content that was added was previously sourced by other users. If you would have SOURCED in the first place then this issue would have never happened. Secondly, now that you provided a VALID source then yes it should be changed. Finally, that does not validate you violating 3RR and edit warring instead of just sourcing to begin with. I recommend you read wiki policy as you are clearly not here to work with other users or you would have provided your source showing it was incorrect. To many IP users Vandalize wiki articles daily and wrestling articles are a 1 target so if you would have provided a source from the beginning this could have been avoided. Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 08:59, 4 December 2016 (UTC)
You've got no idea. The claim put there was unsourced to begin with so I reverted it. You put it back WITHOUT A SOURCE. Getting it yet? You're trying to justify YOU edit warring and it's not going to work. You would have avoided this by sourcing your claim as you should have. End of conversation. 101.182.161.253 (talk) 09:01, 4 December 2016 (UTC)
No wonder IP users get watched so close. Why didn't you just provide a source showing it was wrong if you had a source proving it?Your the type of IP user who gives the rest of us bad names.73.88.223.107 (talk) 10:36, 4 December 2016 (UTC)
Name
[edit]The name this title is Impact Wrestling World Tag Team Championship or Impact World Tag Team Championship or IMPACT Tag Team Championship? This source indicates IMPACT Tag Team Championship. 2804:7F4:FB80:D91B:C81F:FD0C:6FC9:B08E (talk) 17:02, 30 March 2017 (UTC)
- @LM2000:, you opinion? 2804:7F4:FB80:D91B:BC4D:19FA:613:A95E (talk) 23:03, 30 March 2017 (UTC)
- The source leads me to believe that the title is named "IMPACT World Tag Team Championship" but that wouldn't effect the name of the article per Wikipedia:WikiProject Professional wrestling/Style guide. I'd like input from others, but I would adjust the lede to say
The Impact Wresting World Tag Team Championship (stylized as IMPACT Wrestling World Tag Team Championship),...
LM2000 (talk) 01:04, 31 March 2017 (UTC)- Probably shouldn't have edited before bed. Now that I've woken up, I see the problem is the use of "(Wrestling) World", not the style. This is from the official Impact site, which leads me to believe Anthem has dropped "World" from it's name. They could have omitted "Wrestling" as "Impact" is shorthand for "Impact Wrestling". Did they do this with other championships? I'd support a RM to sort this out.LM2000 (talk) 13:19, 31 March 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Is there a source that indicates this is the championship's real name? Is there a source that says the GFW Tag Team Championships have been deactivated and unified with this championship?LM2000 (talk) 05:27, 17 July 2017 (UTC)
