Importance in question?[edit]

Your deletion notice does not seem to based on a review of the external links provided. IAAT is a growing organisation of 440 scholarly members and scientists representing various entities, and very unique in its mission. It operates as a affiliate of the [IAPT]. True this article is a stub, but will develop over time with input from IAAT members. The proposed deletion of this article, based on "insignificance" of the organisation, is unfounded.Aaroamal (talk) 11:31, 9 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The question is not whether it is "insignificant", but whether it meets Wikipedia's notability criteria, which (inter alia) require significant coverage in reliable sources independent of the subject. I recommend you review WP:N and WP:V to get an understanding of what is called for. Rgds, Bongomatic 13:15, 9 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Why is there a hangon tag on this page? Speedy deletion was not requested.Simplebutpowerful 13:34, 9 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • Yes, there was a Speedy deletion tag, which is now removed. The organisation is a non-profit association of professionals and even a comment that it reads like advertisement is far fetched.Aaroamal (talk) 10:59, 15 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
