"Iranian Islamonationalism"?

[edit]

@Kelhuri: Is "Islamonationalism" a neologism you coined? Or do the sources referenced actually use the exact term "Iranian Islamonationalism"? Searching "Iranian+Islamonationalism" returns few Google results if any that aren't Wikipedia or Wiki clones automatically reproducing this material and its mentions on other Wikipedia articles since the creation of this article, and there no results on Google Scholar.

However, "Iranian+Islamic+nationalism" returns a number of mentions on Google/Google Scholar (some of which hyphenate "Iranian-Islamic"), which suggests it's the common name for this topic. Perhaps the article should be moved to that title?

The same goes for Kurdish Islamonationalism, a similar article you created; "Kurdish+Islamic+nationalism" seems to be the common name for that topic. – Scyrme (talk) 17:59, 22 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Same for Turkish Islamonationalism, which I just found; "Turkish+Islamic+nationalism" gives independent results, but using "Islamonationalism" turns up only Wikipedia and mirrors/clones. – Scyrme (talk) 18:06, 22 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, “islamonationalism” is a pretty big word, although its an actual phrase not just one that i made up. you have solid points and i have no argument, lets move. Kelhuri (talk) 04:30, 23 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
