The show has been renewed for an additional 26 episodes, scheduled to air in 2010.

The plot in the second season is to search for Howard Stark while Gene searches for the remaining Makluan Rings and his attempt to become the one true Mandarin. Sunset Bain will make an appearence by having a crush on tony to make Pepper jelous in the season. There will be also the return of Technovore and Fin Fang Foom. Stane will also be becoming the Iron Monger, knowing that Iron Man is Tony Stark and will try to defeat him and take the Iron Man suit throughout the season."

nicktoons has not confirmed when such third season will be released such as tie-in for the 2013 Iron Man 3 live action movie or 2014. No major plotline of such third season has been revealed.

this will not happen because they will stop for a year like January 18, 2010- July 13, 2011 a year gap because of ironman 2

side note the 1 season main plot ended November 28, 2009 that why i forgot about the January 18, 2010 Ep
