GA review

[edit]

This article doesn't seem developed enough for GA yet. The section on the content and samples is unsourced, and overall, the page seems under-developed. Furthermore, the chart positions aren't sourced. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters(Broken clamshellsOtter chirps) 22:33, 21 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

GA reassessment

  • References 1, 2, and 9 are dead links. 1 defiantly should be replaced for all the claims made to it.
  • This is perhaps Ice Cube's most well-known song and his most successful. weasel phrase
  • Track listing needs a reference
  • The shirt Cube was wearing in the video was the same one he later wore in the 1995 movie Friday. Is this encyclopedic? Need a reference if it is
  • The song performed well in the United States, becoming Ice Cube's highest charting single up to date. needs a reference

Comments haven't been addressed, and it seems like more could be added as music article have evolved, so delisted. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 03:42, 24 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Date determined?

I believe the date is actually Nov. 30, 1988. http://deadspin.com/5880881/internet-correction-ice-cubes-good-day-was-actually-november-30-1988 Freedomquiche (talk) 19:25, 20 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

While several reports of someone supposedly establishing a date are out there, none of them would be considered WP:RS. The Dissident Aggressor 20:19, 20 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, DissidentAggressor. On another note, I don't see the relevance of the second paragraph in the "Date of the 'Good Day'" section. It doesn't provide any information that would meaningfully suggest a date. Freedomquiche (talk) 14:07, 21 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
