Name[edit]

I see this page has been moved from Jumonji Matsutaro to Jumonji Masayasu. But according to Sumo Reference, his shikona has never been either of those. It was Jumonji Tomokazu (ie his exact birth name), and now its Jumonji Akinori! I'm very confused. Pawnkingthree 08:22, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

To answer my own question, it appears that this name change has only happened just now with the release of the new banzuke and Sumo Reference just hasn't updated yet. Jumonji seems to be a rikishi who is fond of changing his shikona (or part of it anyway). Pawnkingthree 20:58, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
