What new methods did he pioneer?
[edit]Somebody who knows his work should detalize this. As it stands, the statement is too bland for wikipedia. Bazuz (talk) 01:07, 21 August 2012 (UTC)
The previous Astor Professor of English History in London wasn't A. F. Pollard, but F. C. Montague (1858-1933), now completely forgotten, a contributor to Acton's Cambridge Modern History and Poole & Hunt's Political History of England (1905). He isn't in wikipedia, but is included in the DNB (1931-1940). The list of british historians of 20th century omitted from wikipedia is very large, I check the list of contributors of the Cambridge Histories and i can't find any biographical data of many of them. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 152.207.213.212 (talk) 17:34, 21 December 2023 (UTC)
