This band is, quite frankly, notable. They meet the criteria for notability as per wikipedia's guidelines for a band (they tour internationally and have significant independent press coverage devoted to them). If the problem is lack of content on the page right now, that is not an issue of notability. It is unclear why some editors say there is insufficient grounds for notability, and they should spell out their case more clearly before this article is deleted.

Agree with above poster. If something has been noted in several nationally published magazines, how is it not notable? The burden of proof ought to be on you, if you so vehemently disagree with SPIN, Paste and SxSW that you would deny them a humble, graf long Wikipedia article, could you explain why?
