John Robinson = Jack Robinson?
[edit]The page for Dave Holland at Gloucester Rugby Heritage states… 'As John Robinson, Willie Hall and A E Wood (former Gloucester players) were also in the chosen party the City was exceptionally well represented'. Also, the page for "Father" William Dix states… '"Father" William Dix joined the 8/Gloucesters and landed in France on 18 July 1915 - several other players were in the same battalion including John Robinson and Harry Cook." It's the correct era, the other former Gloucester players were at Oldham, but Jack Robinson was at Rochdale Hornets. Could John Robinson be Jack Robinson? Best Regards.
