PLEASE...
[edit]Can someone please put some images. There are a couple of site with Talisman images. Try to get character images! Also, the shows logo - please! THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can someone start an article for Uncle? He's the funniest!--HistoricalPisces 19:14, 4 September 2005 (UTC)
Speaking of uncle, my friend (who speaks some Cantonese) says it is actually "Yu Mo Gui Gui Fie Di Zhou," not "Yu Mo Gui Gui Fie Di Sow." Could someone else confirm? --68.237.14.235 21:11, 4 November 2005 (UTC)
I apologize if this is in the wrong place. Referring to uncle's phrase 妖魔鬼怪快哋走 if that is the correct order (ghost then monster), then he is saying it more like 'Yu Mo GUI GWAI Fai Di Za' in jyutping the two would be "gwai gwaai". —Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.12.85.104 (talk) 00:41, 29 March 2009 (UTC)
There are several spellings. "Sow", however, is obviously incorrect. -- Supermorff 14:32, 5 December 2005 (UTC)
A list of almost all the incantations used to exist, but got destroyed in a reorganization. They can still be found at http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Chi_Incantations&action=history . Hopefully they can be re-merged somewhere. --71.71.238.231 06:10, 14 April 2006 (UTC)
- I really REALLY thought the Japanese chant was 'dokeru kimen yaaku' meaning 'take off the unlucky devil's face'
Looping Link
[edit]The "Shadowkahn" link in the navigation template at the bottom of the page redirects to Jackie Chan Adventures. Is there supposed to be a separate page for Shadowkahn? --152.228.231.158 (talk) 05:20, 4 October 2008 (UTC)
Enter The Dragon
[edit]Another movie reference to Jackie Chan's film career would be the third season, the episode called Re-Enter the J Team. The events in this episode follow similiar events to the movie Enter the Dragon. In addtion, Jackie Chan appears brifly with Bruce Lee in this movie.
Really needs some improvement...
[edit]If anyone here wants this to be a better article, I suggest someone add a Production section and add to it. Abby724 22:42, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
Images
[edit]Can someone add some more pictures? Some Talisman, Demons, and Shadowkwan pictures would be helpful ^_^
Character page
[edit]I'm adding a page for just the characters, since most of the page is characters. If it doesn't work out, tell me on my talk page and I'll re-merge them. Noone 01:21, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
Matthew Barnard
[edit]The line "Matthew Barnard of the hit NBC comedy The Matthew Barnard Show appeared as a guest voice in an episode of season three as a Chinese drug lord named Fu King." is most likely vandalism. Can anyone confirm a show named "The Matthew Barnard Show" ever existed?
Trivia Section
[edit]I integrated the film career part of the trivia section into the article. If there are any problems, drop a line on my talk page. Noone 22:38 EST, 20 October 2006
Toon Disney
[edit]I wonder what's the reason why Toon Disney picked up this cartoon show. I mean, it's from their nemisis, Warner Bros. (BTW, I wonder if Disney could do the same with Hi Hi Puffy Amiyumi :) )--70.58.240.56 01:05, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
More references
[edit]I remember an episode where Shendu says "Reports of my demise have been greatly exaggerated", a line from Mark Twain. Can't seem to remember when it was though. 69.108.90.218 02:32, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
Shendu said this when Jackie found out that Shendu's spirit was in Valmont's body. April 1, 2011 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.253.44.189 (talk) 01:32, 2 April 2011 (UTC)
Trivia
[edit]The trivia section says something about the show's airing schedule in the Philipines. I think this is irrelevant and should be deleted. Because, we don't see it telling the network for other regions. InfernoFireMech 02:42, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
The Whole trivia section should be deleted all together. The information is just a list of quasi-interesting facts, and does not better our understanding of the topic. NotAllThatMuch (talk) 04:29, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
Decompression sickness
[edit]Near the end in the trivia section it refers to decompression sickness but as 'the bends' in quotes. This seems to imply that it is fictional. Shouldn't someone add a link to the article for [decompression sickness]?71.30.161.55 11:36, 2 October 2007 (UTC)
Toys and Video Game Section
[edit]I deleted the Toys section, as it was badly formatted and not particularly important. Feel free to add it back if it's better formatted.
I deleted the Video Games section as it simply made no sense. This is the 2nd time this has happened-- looks like someone keeps adding it back in. Alessandriana (talk) 06:54, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, I deleted the section back in Jan. '08 too. RyuujinZero (talk) 06:23, 3 July 2008 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Jackiechanadventures logo.gif
[edit]Image:Jackiechanadventures logo.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Uncle's incantation
[edit]After some quick research on google, uncle's incantation is actually 妖魔鬼怪快哋走. The one currently on here now redirects to 2 results, while 妖魔鬼怪快哋走 does to 100,000+.
can someone please change, and a cantonese confirm my mandarin? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 151.203.41.220 (talk) 01:54, 30 November 2009 (UTC)
DVDs
[edit]Perhaps this is the wrong place to ask this, but does anyone know why the entire series hasn't been released on dvd yet? a lot of those "old" shows have been coming out lately: rugrats, batman, superman, batman beyond, power puff girls, yugioh, etc... does anyone know why this show hasn't? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.165.126.97 (talk) 03:44, 5 January 2010 (UTC)
Removed cleanup template
[edit]I removed the cleanup template because I didn't see anything that desperately needed work besides the lack of references (which is already mentioned separately). Maybe the "Talismans" and "Chi Magic" sections should be cut or shortened? Of course, there's always room for improvement, but I don't think just the hatnote helps anything without any specific suggestions for improvement here on the talk page. —Mu Mind (talk) 03:42, 30 April 2011 (UTC)

Jackie Chan as character designer?
[edit]I removed Jackie from the intro as "main character designer". There's no source cited for this, the sentence had singular grammar, so it seems someone just tacked his name on like "he probably had a say in it, right?" While Chan has a lot of great talents, I can't find a reference to his art skills (aside: "Jackie Chan received an honorary professorship from the Savannah College of Art and Design for a lifetime of excellence in the cinematic arts"), and even if he cán draw well, I doubt he had much to do with the áctual designing, beyond advising, or greenlighting stuff. Certainly not the máin designer in the usual sense of the word. He doesnt show up in the credits as such either. He probably had the final say in most things in the show, but we don't credit people in that position with every role they ever got involved in. It's kinda implied anyway.87.209.236.59 (talk) 11:10, 25 June 2020 (UTC)
