- Jackie went back to working in the coal mines, and we knew each other pretty well. He was always a legend to the Dunfermline fans and there many at Solsgirth mine. If my memory serves me well, I think Jackie mentioned coming on as a sub against Brazil, with Pele in the team. Of course I could be wrong, and my memory could be faulty, but there are few football stars I have been as close to as we were in our working day. 88.108.74.252 (talk) 10:48, 6 May 2023 (UTC)
