Contested deletion
[edit]This article should not be speedy deleted as being about a person, animal, organization or web content but which fails to assert the importance of its subject, because all information on the article is entirely factual and cited. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kayfrimanders (talk • contribs) 01:42, 30 August 2011 (UTC)
- I believe this article does suffer from serious notability issues, but because of the Ellen link, I don't think it actually qualifies for CSD A7. -- WikHead (talk) 01:46, 30 August 2011 (UTC)
Contested deletion
[edit]This article should not be speedy deleted as being about a person, animal, organization or web content but which fails to assert the importance of its subject, because... Jackson Guthy is a popular musician, he is becoming a veritable "tween" icon. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.170.77.252 (talk) 03:36, 30 August 2011 (UTC)
- I see that speedy deletion (per CSD A7) has been declined as I assumed it would be, but only through a descriptive technicality of the actual CSD A7 criteria applied. In my opinion however, this article in its current state falls short of meeting its basic requirements outlined at WP:MUSICBIO, and is unlikely to survive other avenues of deletion (such as AfD) if pursued. Those interested in keeping this article need to familiarise themselves with WP:MUSICBIO, and make every effort possible to quickly bring it up to snuff. Good luck. -- WikHead (talk) 18:00, 30 August 2011 (UTC)
