German WP states that the origin (restaurant bills) is not true (see de:Diskussion:Jakob M. Mierscheid ). - Timosch (talk) 15:58, 3 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

At leasts its a wellknown and often mentioned urban legend within Mierscheid followers, it was mentioned that his father Jakob Alfons Mierscheid was already member of the Reichstag 1930-33. --Polentario (talk) 01:44, 12 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

He'll be member of the new Bundestag as well. --Polentario (talk) 09:42, 13 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Change to Piratenpartei[edit]

This was an April Fools joke of the Piratenpartei. One can suspect a try to get more publicity using a better known "person". Inclusion of this aspect was discussed and denied on the german pages for Mierscheid, see de:Diskussion:Jakob M. Mierscheid. It needs to be deleted here. F_alk (talk) 21:21, 23 Sept 2010 (CEST)
