Personal Life?

[edit]

This article only talks about her professional life. It'd be nice if someone could insert some personal biography to help give readers possible context to her work. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 147.226.132.106 (talk) 17:27, 6 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Buddhist teacher

[edit]

She was one of the presenters on a PBS presentation on the life of the Buddha, and really good. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ocdnctx (talkcontribs) 12:23, 28 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Major additions

[edit]

I've added a great deal of referenced material about Hirshfield's poetry and philosophy but since my knowledge of html is limited, I may not have coded some of the references correctly. I can see that I've not correctly formatted the new section, "Poetry" and haven't added it to the content box. I'd appreciate any help. Lavenderly (talk) 14:58, 2 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for that. I have Wikified things a bit and added some refs. Span (talk) 20:32, 2 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I see another editor categorized the Hirshfield wiki I've significantly updated and enriched as "start" quality. And her "notability" is in question??? Lavenderly (talk) 18:53, 13 July 2013 (UTC)Lavenderly[reply]

Bibliography

[edit]

Some nonworking links to material about April 2017 March for Science from NYTimes and WaPo need fixing. User:Lavenderly —Preceding undated comment added 14:26, 30 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Have commenced tidy-up of the Bibliography section using cite templates and a table for individual poems; feel free to continue. Sunwin1960 (talk) 06:46, 10 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
