Inconsistent?[edit]

The first paragraph says that she had a starring role on General Hospital in the 80s, but the Career section says she had only minor roles until northern exposure. Could someone who knows about her career have a look? Zarvok | Talk 03:11, 4 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

High School[edit]

I've listed Janine Turner as a former student in the WP article for Trinity High School (Euless, Texas) based on credible statements from someone I know, but I'm seeking a cite-worthy source. If anyone has one/finds one (for or against), please add it to the Trinity High School page or make a note on the talk page there. Thanks! --Hebisddave 15:22, 29 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Personal Life[edit]

The quote “They don’t want our children to know about their rights. They don’t want our children to know about a God!” does not actually appear in the New Yorker article cited. http://www.newyorker.com/reporting/2010/08/30/100830fa_fact_mayer — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mr. Mephistopheles (talkcontribs) 08:49, 13 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

yeah it does, that quote in that article brought me to this wiki article (WP:BLP violation removed) lol!!! http://www.newyorker.com/reporting/2010/08/30/100830fa_fact_mayer?currentPage=all — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.38.208.30 (talk) 21:31, 8 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The first part of Janine's quote about knowing a God is accurate in the article , but no where does the article say she made any comments about gays and slavery.. that seems to added by the submitter to her comment.. Here is the quote directly from the article: "The summit featured several paid speakers, including Janine Turner, the actress best known for her role on the television series “Northern Exposure.” She declared, “They don’t want our children to know about their rights. They don’t want our children to know about a God!” — Preceding unsigned comment added by Accuracymatters68 (talkcontribs) 17:35, 11 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

“]P[olitical correctness is going to be responsible for killing more Americans.” “Regarding Darth Vader, please! The Bible talks darkness and light. This is about evil and good. Darkness and light.” “This doesn’t have anything to do with anything else, this goes back to biblical times. It’s been discussed in the Bible, Jesus talks about it. It’s about darkness and light, evil and good.” “Evil people come up on the black horses, the good people come up on the white horses. I mean, you know, this is darkness and evil.” “We’re in clear and present danger, we’re beyond imminent. So the states can legally and constitutionally come together to defend the American people.” http://www.rawstory.com/2015/12/conservative-actress-tells-fox-darth-vader-is-black-because-its-in-the-bible-and-jesus-talks-about-it/2601:205:101:5952:B85B:358C:7D4B:F64C (talk) 02:30, 15 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Other potential sources[edit]

Here are a few probably reliable sources that could be used as references—67.100.124.202 (contribs) 05:37, 11 March 2008 (UTC).[reply]

CHILD?[edit]

What was it: the Immaculate Conception? Who's the father? (Paleocon44 (talk) 12:43, 28 August 2010 (UTC))[reply]

Turner indicates that her boyfriend around the time of the conception of Juliette Turner-Jones was Jerry Jones, Jr. However, given WP:GRAPEVINE, and without an explicit and reliable source, it's not clear to me what would be reasonable to add to the article. Weedwhacker128 (talk) 20:33, 30 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like someone took a shot at adding Juliette Turner-Jones's paternal information, but much of the mod has been zapped. Janine Turner, herself, is the source for the name of her male companion at the time of Juliette's conception (the 1997 Movieline interview). And Janine Turner is a source for Juliette's surname with this 2006 press release. However, Turner has never publically stated (that I can see) that 1 + 1 = 2, so I don't think we can do so here, right? Weedwhacker128 (talk) 18:36, 29 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Incomplete story about Alec Baldwin and her[edit]

Currently there is this statement in the Personal Life section: "Turner was once engaged to Alec Baldwin... " This is an understatement, as he left her standing at the altar. Is this considered too controversial to add? (She's probably glad now that he did.) __209.179.93.170 (talk) 03:02, 12 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
